News, Events and Reunions

Reunions

Reunions are at the heart of the Old Scholars Association, offering a meaningful opportunity for alumni to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate their shared history. Whether it has been 10 years or 70, reunions are a cherished tradition that honours the enduring friendships and formative experiences shaped at St Hilda’s.

Each year, milestone reunions are held for Old Scholars celebrating 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years since graduation. These occasions can range from casual gatherings to formal luncheons and special School tours, all designed to rekindle connections and create new memories. For our most senior Old Scholars, a special morning tea is hosted to recognise those who are 70 years of age and over, a testament to the lifelong impact of the St Hilda’s community.

The OSA works closely with Year Representatives and reunion organisers to help bring these events to life and warmly welcomes all Old Scholars back to the School to celebrate their unique place in its history.

St Hilda’s OSA Art Exhibition

This well-established annual community event is a highlight in the community calendar.

The GHS & St Hilda’s Old Scholars Association’s Art Exhibition celebrates the talent and dedication of outstanding artists that inspire our students and local community. Each year a group of emerging and established Western Australian artists exhibit new works including paintings, mixed media, ceramics, weaving and wire sculpture.

The Exhibition extends over three levels of the stunning Joy Shepherd Performing Arts Centre at the St Hilda’s Bay View campus.

In past exhibitions we have been very fortunate to attract artists including Jacqui Armstrong, Andrew Baines, Melissa Boughey, Sherriden Brown, Rachel Coad, Gina D’Alessandro, Emma Dodds, Sue Eva, Teresa Fernandez, David Green, Simon Greetham, Roslyn Hamdorf, Kathryn Haug, Narelle Higson, Chrissie Hogan, Belinda Jeanes, Rebecca Koerting, Nicki Letizia, Jen Mellor, Myra Mitchell, Kristie Rowe, Tania Spencer and Johanna Valom.

Among these artists we have also been proud to show the fabulous works of St Hilda’s Old Scholar’s Emma Lipscomb (OS 1992), Cy Rocchi (OS 1986) and Pippin Drysdale (OS Carew Reid, 1961).
